Part 1: Old Town with Main Market Square and Planty Park

From monumental architecture and magical nooks to the green Planty park and the oldest street in the city.

Route: 3.38 km (about 4400 steps).

* On the route, you will see, among others, the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre, the Barbican, St. Florian's Gate, Szczepański Square, Collegium Maius, Main Market Square, Small Market Square, as well as many hidden corners, atmospheric nooks, and magical streets.

Royal Wawel Hill and the Dragon's Den

The historic cathedral, Renaissance palace, and royal courtyards located on the hill, guarded by the legendary dragon, and which still echo the royal times.

* At Wawel, you either finish or start the Old Town part of the journey.

Formerly an independent city with a vibrant Jewish community, today it's a historic district full of atmospheric streets, squares, and cafes.

Route: 3.04 km (about 4000 steps).
